The long-stroke LG optical sensor linear gage has a four inch measuring range with photoelectric encoder which provides accurate measurements over the entire range.  Models are available with low measuring force to enhance measurement accuracy on various materials, and IP66 models for harsh, in-line applications. 

  • Rubber boot LG linear gages are IP66 rated for excellent resistance to coolant, oil and dust
  • Standard LG linear gages are IP54 rated for coolant, oil and dust resistance
  • Three types are available: standard, low measuring force and rubber boot 
  • Photoelectric encoder provides a high precision sensor across the entire measuring range, as well as, high resistance to electrical interference
  • Range: 100mm (4”)
  • The resolution of each model can be selected from 0.1μm (5 μin) or 1μm (50 μin)
  • IP54 or IP66 rated
  • TTL output for ease of communication
