The compact LGB linear gage is a displacement probe designed for measuring displacement or thickness in a wide range of applications such as automation environments, clustered probing and shop floor environments.  The clamp nut feature allows for easy mounting.

The LGB linear gage is ideal for general measurements and its compact size allows for installation into areas where space is limited.  High precision ball bearings in the spindle guide provide extremely smooth movements and the low measuring force delivers accurate measurements on an array of materials.  The built-in clamp nut feature offers easy mounting to optional brackets or custom fixtures. 

  • Photoelectric encoder provides a high precision sensor across the entire measuring range, as well as, high resistance to electrical interference
  • The resolution is 0.1μm (5 μin) 
  • L-shaped gage range: 5mm (.2”)
  • Low measuring force gage range: 10mm (.4”)
  • IP54 rating provides coolant, oil and dust resistance
  • Compact form (ø8mm straight stem) can easily be built-into gaging
  • Nut clamp type for easy mounting
  • TTL output for ease of communication
