The Mitutoyo small and ultra-small micrometer heads, also referred to as miniature micrometer heads, make incorporating accurate adjustments and measurements into measuring instruments and precision machines easier. The spindle is constructed of hardened tool steel, and the measuring face is precision lapped for better accuracy.
- Available in Metric and Inch models
- Mounting stem diameter is 6.5mm/.256”
- Spindle diameter is 6.35mm/.256”
- Mic head total length (at stroke end) is 37mm/1.45” and 43.5mm/1.71”
- Models are available with flat or spherical spindle faces
- Spindle faces have lapped surfaces and are constructed of ultra-hard SKS3 steel
- Thimble is hard-chrome plated with laser-etched scales for easy-to-read measurements
- Spindle screw threads are precision machined for incredibly precise movements
